In collaboration with the Wiese Foundation and the Brujo Archaeological Museum, we delved into the fascinating history of the Lady of Cao, whose tomb revealed the archaeological treasures of the region. Working hand in hand with the artisans of Magdalena de Cao, in Libertad, Peru, we have launched an empowerment and training program to preserve the ancient textile techniques of the community. This collection not only aims to showcase the beauty of Moche textile art but also to empower young women and preserve the cultural legacy of the region. The collection not only showcases the rich textile legacy of the Mochica culture but also serves as a testament to the importance of preserving indigenous craftsmanship while creating sustainable employment opportunities.
